#BJJFACTS: Why did Professor Marcelo start to teach kids?

DID YOU KNOW THAT… PROFESSOR MARCELO GOT HIS BLACK BELT FROM ONE OF THE GRACIE BARRA FOUNDERS WHO IS AN EXPERT IN KIDS PROGRAM?

That is how he started, very early in his career, to acquire all his expertise in teaching kids _ a very rewarding but challenging venture. Professor Marcelo believes that coaching children brings a big responsibility, so he provides specific attention to each student’s needs and goals. He wants them to internalize the BJJ values, but also to master the techniques.

When he arrived in Montreal, his mission was to develop the GB Kids program and promote Gracie Barra Anti-Bullying Campaign at GB Montreal. Nowadays, he personally supervises all the GB Kids classes at GB Sainte Anne to ensure the Excellence of the program.
