For those who don’t know, Marcelo holds a Master’s degree in Economics from one of the best schools in Brazil – FGV. On the mats, a black belt first degree. Off them, he has 15 years of experience in Finance and has worked for multinationals in Brazil and Canada, alongside some renowned economists (including the current Finance Minister of Brazil, Paulo Guedes, and the CEO of the Petrobras, Roberto Castello Branco). During this time, he travelled the world handling inquires of large international investors.
As a school owner, he has truly benefited from his experience in strategic financial planning and had relevant results, even during slow seasons. Early in the crisis, he implemented an emergency model that is considerably minimizing the financial impact on his school.
